Office Clerk

Who You Are:

·       Positive, compassionate, and professional in communication with clients and colleagues alike.

·       Fully bilingual and capable of communicating with members in both English and French (required).

·       Respects high confidentiality and safeguards member privacy in all interactions.

·       Knowledgeable in the effective use of accounting software – Sage50 experience is considered an asset.

·       Proficient in the use of technology including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Primary Role Responsibilities:

·       Providing general support to members and staff.

·       Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll; recording all transactions and ensuring compliance.

·       Creating expense reports to account for business spending.

·       Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.

·       Assisting in data entry and records management.

·       Scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings.

·       Communications and outreach – innovating to create new marketing materials, and developing an online presence for the organization by creating digital content.

Education and Experience:

·       Previous experience (2+ years) in an accounting or administration-focused role. Mental health setting experience is considered an asset, but not required.

·       Diploma/degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
